Darren ministered as a full-time youth and children’s pastor for 17 years in both Arkansas and North Carolina. He served here at First Church for 11 years as the Associate Youth & Children’s Pastor and in February of 2019, he became the Senior Pastor.
He received his BA Degree in Physical Education and in Bible from Welch College in 1993.
He and his wife Melinda have been married since 1993. They have two daughters, Abby and Sydney.
Darren loves Michigan football and an ice cold Pepsi. He also enjoys spending good quality time with Melinda and his girls.
Before coming to First Free Will Baptist Church, Daniel ministered as youth pastor for 3 years in Tennessee. In 2019, he began serving as the full-time the Youth and Music Pastor, and then in 2021 he began working solely as Youth Pastor.
He received his BA Degree in Pastoral Ministry and Theological Studies from Welch College in 2017.
He and his wife Casey have been married since 2020. They have two daughters, Audrey and Hannah.
Daniel enjoys playing and watching basketball, and he enjoys hunting and fishing. He loves spending time with Casey and his girls and hanging out with friends.
Before coming to Washington, Drew served as an admissions counselor at Welch College from 2021-2023. He then began serving at D6 Family Ministry in Nashville, TN from 2023-2025 as a sales and customer service rep for church ministries.
He received his BA degree in Music Performance and in Bible from Welch College in 2021.
He and his wife Sydney have been married since 2022 and are currently expecting their first child, Beckham, in May of 2026.
Drew is eager to serve the church through worship and community. He loves to sing, to cook, and to spend time with his family watching Tennessee Football.
