Here at First Church we incorporate a blended style of music which ranges from traditional hymns to today’s contemporary favorites. Music should be a means to provide an atmosphere of worship for the entire body. The time of praise and worship during a service is vital to creating a sense of refuge from the cares of the world and a haven where God’s people join to together in honoring Him.  With such a tremendous influence over us, we must use music as a means of worship and not a performance, the path to coming into the presence of the Spirit and His working throughout the service.

Interest in participation in any of these service opportunities is strictly volunteer.  Please let Bro. Bobby know what areas you are interested in and what, if any, experience you have. For participation in the singing areas, there should be a strong desire to worship God through singing with other believers. For the choir, we expect our members to be Christ followers and engaged in a growing relationship with Jesus, and a willingness to be involved.
